Tours

• Self-directed tours: Pick up a printed Visitor Brochure and Guide/Map at the Visitor Center for general descriptions of the grounds, gardens and buildings. Hiking Trail maps are available at the Visitor Center.
• Hiking Trails: Yew Dell's hiking trails offer visitors a convenient way to enjoy the natural areas adjacent to the gardens. A two-acre pond, active beaver dams and over a mile of hiking trails make for a wonderful walk in the woods anytime of the year.
• IPod Tours: Pick up a free IPod (sorry, you have to give it back when you are done!) at the Visitor Center for an audio introduction to Yew Dell and guided tour through the gardens. The IPod tours follow the numbered locations on the printed Visitor Guide.
• Guided Tours: Yew Dell's volunteer tour guides offer lively and informative tours of the grounds. You'll learn about Yew Dell's history, development of the botanical gardens, programs, annual events and more. Tour guides can usually be arranged for groups of 10 or more paying visitors or members. Please call two weeks ahead to give us sufficient time to arrange for a guide.
