Jean Ohlmann Secret Garden

Yew Dell Architecture Tour

  • The Secret Garden was built for testing and display of everything from dwarf conifers to peonies.
  • Originally designed as a sun garden, it has developed into a shade garden and now holds a large and varied collection of shade plants with interest throughout the year.
  • Through the hard work and generosity of the Louisville Rambler Garden Club and support from the Principal Financial Group, this garden has experienced a rebirth. It contains more than 70 winter and spring-blooming varieties of lenten rose, hardy ferns, hardy ginger and many other shade specialties.
