Children's Tours
School groups, youth clubs, Boy and Girl Scouts, and other organizations can experience the wonders of nature in our outdoor spaces!
Take a self-guided walk through our gardens, or reserve a Yew Dell Backpack to enhance your experience.
Children's Tour Fees:
$5 per child for a self-guided visit
$10 per child to reserve a Yew Dell Backpack, which includes an activity lanyard, sketchbook, journal, color pencils, and magnifying glass to use during your visit. Backpack topics are Pollinators and Arboretum.
Booking Requirements:
- Children’s group visits are limited to maximum of 30 children, and we can only accommodate one children’s group at a time on our campus.
- We require one chaperone for every five children. Chaperones and drivers are admitted free. Additional adults pay General Admission.
- Children’s group visits must be scheduled a minimum of two weeks in advance and are scheduled based on availability.
- Full payment is required to reserve your tour date/time slot.
- Full payment in one check or credit card transaction is required in order to qualify for the group rate.
- Tour fees are non-refundable. In the event of inclement weather, tours can be rescheduled based on availability.
