When designing this display our horticulture staff have to pay special attention to the bulb heights and colors, so they pair well with the natural stone walls surrounding it. This is the only display in which we use the trenching method when planting the bulbs, rather than planting individually. Allium moly, also called Golden Garlic, stole the heart of our Garden and Arboretum Manager, while visiting gardens in Oregon.
