The Mary F. Rounsavall Pavilion

Opened in spring 2016, this new facility greatly expands Yew Dell’s capacity for rental events, community festivals, and Yew Dell programming. With event seating for more than 300 guests, the Mary F. Rounsavall Pavilion features roll-down, fabric sides, integrated lighting and fans, plus stunning gardens and views all around. It is the perfect place to host a special event. The new facility was named in honor of Yew Dell’s long-serving board president who has been so instrumental in Yew Dell’s early success.

Castle

Originally built as the Klein family’s pool house, the fieldstone construction carries the same theme as the house and numerous stone walls around the property. The Castle has a small kitchen and central room that can be rented for meetings, retreats, and other special events.

Gheens Barn

The Barn originally served two purposes: the upper level was used for hay storage and the lower level had stalls for livestock. The barn was strategically built into the hillside so that both levels could be accessed from the ground level. In 2005, the Barn was renovated with support from the Gheens Foundation and others. It currently serves as an education facility for lectures and workshops, as well as a rental space for receptions, corporate meetings, and retreats.

Peyton Samuel Head Trust Pavilion

The Peyton Samuel Head Trust Pavilion was designed by deLeon & Primmer Architecture Workshop and was built in 2005 along with the renovation of the Gheens Barn. The pavilion houses public restrooms, a space for food preparation, and an overlook event deck. This pavilion is combined with the Gheens Barn and the Stone Terrace for fantastic indoor/outdoor access for your private event.

Stone Terrace

The Stone Terrace, with its festoon market lights, is often used for cocktails or dancing the night away.
